What a great day. So I slept in (finally) and took it easy! I went to the gym at about 1:00 PM with my car buddies (we share rental cars). I had a blast! Who knew working out at the gym could be so much fun. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow. What is wrong with me, right? After that, we went to Target to pick up things to eat, clean, etc. You know – you have to make your new space feel like a home. My cart was STUFFED! What we couldn’t get there (which isn’t much), we got at Kroger. So far, Royal Oak, Michigan, feels more like home. It’s just more of what I’m used to: malls, grocery stores, roads, cars, etc. We got back not too long ago, I unpacked my gear and had dinner. I’ve got my HGTV on, so I’m all set. I just found out that tomorrow, I don’t have to be at the theatre until 5:15 PM for a costume fitting. Then, I figure that I’ll come back to the apartment for dinner, and I have to be back at the theatre for a quick change rehearsal at 8:15 PM and a wig fitting at 9:00 PM. That’s it. I think I can handle it, and I’m glad that I can go to the gym at a relaxing hour in the morning! Love it. So in short, today was about getting settled in and relaxing. I can do that. I’m sure that I’ll have much more to report tomorrow.
