Wow – I can’t believe we open in 3 days! Our first official audience in previews is Wednesday for a matinee. I am so excited. Today – more of the same, though we did do some dance cleaning this afternoon, which seemed to help A LOT! We did get a few more changes from Broadway, so the choreography was altered slightly. But we managed it well. Tonight, we had a dress rehearsal, which felt pretty good. I think it was our first time getting from top to bottom without stopping. Whew… Now I’m just tired. I wish I had more exciting news to share (I hope I don’t get too boring as the show goes on). My head hurts a little from wearing my pin curls all day for 10 hours. I also wear my mic in my wig, which I’ve never done before. I think all of the added weight is tough on my neck – not terrible, but I feel it a little when I try to relax. But I can tell you, from now on, I PREFER wearing the pack and all in my wig. It makes costume changes a breeze, and nevermind using the restroom. Woo hoo! I am still missing a pair of gloves, so once I get those, I think I’ll be all set with costuming! I am actually looking forward to opening, and I hope that Aaron finds a great “little black dress” in my closet at home. I want to look nice for our opening night party! For those of you that can come see the show, I hope you will. I love this show, and I think everyone in the production is super talented. I just can’t say better things about it!
