Day 3

So singing at the end of the day helps SO MUCH!  I am not nearly as exhausted as I was yesterday.  Whew…  Today, we started cleaning “Let Yourself Go.”  It was beginning to feel so much better (and look better, too).  Following, we started to learn which side of the stage we would be dancing on for “I Love A Piano,” and then completed choreography for that.  I LOVE the beginning on the piano stools – such fun.  Who knew you could tap so much while sitting down – and have it still look interesting?  It’s so great!  We reviewed “Blue Skies” a little, but didn’t do any more with that.  Probably a good thing.  We had already danced all morning.  So by the time we finished dancing, I thought that my foot was going to fall off.  It progressively got worse throughout the day, so during the singing rehearsal in the afternoon, I iced it.  Well, when you ask for ice, you have to complete an injury report.  So, while I’m sure it will be nothing more than over use, I have it documented.  I’ve been taking Advil, and I am getting ready to ice it (waiting for ice in the freezer).  The walk back to the apartment tonight was a little painful, and doggone it, I STILL got turned around when I got off the train.  Maybe tomorrow…  I stopped by a small store tonight, and got some food to get me through the next few days.  And finally, on my home, I think I got hit on waiting for the train.  Yeah – that’s never happened before, but I got asked for coffee.  After he said I was such a “natural beauty.”  I’m thinking, “Where is this going?”  I totally said, “Actually, I’m married.”  He said, “Well, he’s a lucky guy.”  GO AARON! J  So signing off for now; off to ice my foot.
